Senior Operations Advisor and Director of Strategic Partnerships

Kevin Wheeler brings vast industry knowledge and experience as Maeva’s Senior Operations Advisor and Director of Strategic Partnerships. With over 17 years in the dental service organization space, he is a recognized and respected leader, influencer and coach.  

Prior to joining Maeva in 2019, Kevin recorded an impressive track record with various dental consulting & fractional COO businesses. He spent 12 years at Pacific Dental Services, holding titles such as Regional Manager and Director of Denovos and New Markets. Here he led the opening of 90 offices for their first 6 months, with each office breaking the $100k mark within their first month. A regional leader of over 50 offices, his teams won a combined 67 performance awards as well as winning 6 Extraordinary Performance Awards of his own. Kevin also spent time with Great Expressions, where he acted as Integration and Acquisition Manager for the DSO’s national campaign. In addition, he led a region of 27 offices throughout New York and New Jersey, generating a 20% increase in revenue for the region over a single year. Kevin successfully launched cause marketing cultures in regions he worked with for both businesses. 

With his well-honed coaching techniques, Kevin is able to drive positive change resulting in strong financial performance within practices of all sizes. He prides himself on his ability to develop individuals and teams breaking through stagnant or poor profitability and achieve desired results. Throughout his career, significant increases in case acceptance and productivity have been a direct result of his unique ability to accurately diagnose and correct staff performance as well as communication challenges.

Kevin is a volunteer for the American Red Cross Disaster Team, the California Firefighters Association, and the National Fire Council. He is a graduate of Cal Poly State University, SLO with BS in Natural Resource Management.
